Days 1โ2: the essentials
- Get a Spanish SIM card
- Locate your nearest supermarket, pharmacy, and transport stop
- Sort out keys, deposit, and any move-in details with your landlord
Days 3โ4: administration
- Start empadronamiento at the town hall
- Open or activate a Spanish bank account
- Set up internet if not already included
Days 5โ7: settling in
- Register for healthcare according to your status
- Get a rechargeable transport card

When you get stuck
Some of these steps depend on appointments and documents that can be confusing in a new language. If you get stuck, local support can translate, accompany you, and keep things moving.
