HolaGranada

About us

Local people helping you move to Granada

HolaGranada was founded by Søren and Ryan to give foreigners moving to Granada the honest, practical, English-speaking help they actually need. We are based here, we know the city, and we work for you - not for landlords or agents.

Our story

We know how it feels to move to a new country and face an unfamiliar rental market, a language you don't yet speak, and bureaucracy that seems designed to confuse. We started HolaGranada because we saw newcomers making the same costly mistakes - paying deposits on properties that didn't exist, signing contracts they didn't understand, and getting stuck in endless appointments.

Our mission is simple: to be the local friend you wish you had when moving to Granada. Honest advice, real legwork, and someone to call when things go wrong.

What we stand for

Honesty first

We tell you the truth, including when something is a bad idea. We are not paid by landlords or agents, so our advice stays on your side.

Local knowledge

We live in Granada. We know the neighbourhoods, the market, and how the bureaucracy really works - not the tourist version.

Practical help

We do the legwork: searching, translating, coordinating, and showing up at appointments so you don't have to face it alone.

The team

Søren

Co-founder

Søren moved to Granada from abroad and learned first-hand how confusing the rental market and paperwork can be. He founded HolaGranada to give newcomers the honest, local help he wished he'd had.

Ryan

Co-founder

Ryan handles on-the-ground relocation support - from viewings and translation to appointments and settling-in. He believes moving country should be exciting, not overwhelming.
