Living in Salobreña

Salobreña is visually striking - a white Moorish castle and old quarter perched on a rocky hill above flat sugarcane fields, with a long, uncrowded beach below.

It is quieter and less developed than Almuñécar, retaining a strongly Spanish character rather than becoming a full expat enclave, which many residents consider its greatest appeal.
