Living in Monachil

Monachil straddles the transition between city and mountain - it is the last village before the road climbs to Pradollano ski resort and the Sierra Nevada national park.

The village itself has a traditional Andalusian character with a gorge walk (Los Cahorros) that draws hikers from across the region, while remaining just 10 kilometres from Granada's centre.
